Art Exploration
Imagination Art
Marybeth has been teaching art classes to students for over three years
at various age levels. She is a certified elementary teacher and has a
special interest in art, taking many college level art courses. She
holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Spring Arbor University in
Management and Organizational Development.
Marybeth completed her student teaching at Herbison Woods School
in DeWitt, and currently is a Key Account Manager at Blue Cross Blue
Shield of Michigan. She is currently enrolled in the Masters of
Education program at Central Michigan University. In her spare time she
also teaches art for 4-H.
Marybeth enjoys teaching students about the fundamentals of art and
allowing them to explore their creativity. She loves to see the students
light up during the hands-on projects and is always amazed at how
artistic the GATE and A+ students are. The students especially enjoy the
projects that they can eat, and the ones they are able to get messy with
including making plaster masks and clay projects.
