With over eight years of experience in marketing and communications, Maria has strong skills in writing, editing, design, events planning and customer relationship management. She earned a BA in advertising with a specialization in public relations from Michigan State University and is currently finishing a graphic design certificate program from Lansing Community College. She has also completed LCC courses in photography, journalism, e-business and computer information technology. Maria is excited for the opportunity to share her skills and experience with others through the Learning for Life program at LCC. Always seeking out new information, she specializes in developing marketing identity, planning project and campaign strategies, and exploring web 2.0 tools. She also has a passion for helping others to succeed. Her other interests include photography, digital imaging, writing, travel, and reading.
