      Your Life! Your Stories!

Holly has been an employee of Lansing Community College since 2008. She holds a Bachelor's Degree from Michigan State University in Psychology and Journalism and has completed graduate work in spiritual studies. She is currently an instructor in Extension and Community Education's Learning for Life program. Holly has been giving writing workshops and classes for over 10 years. She enjoys helping others use writing as a tool for reflection, storytelling, healing, and community-building.

Holly is the owner of Reflections Life Writing, a business devoted to helping people tell and find meaning in their life stories. Toward this end, she has given workshops throughout Michigan and California. She has inspired dozens of seniors to write their life stories, and created a workbook to guide them in this process. However, she wishes more people would begin reflecting and writing up their lives earlier - to glean from the wisdom of their life experiences. Holly regularly offers classes on journaling for people of all ages.

Holly has worked as a writer and editor as well as a creative writing teacher for Montessori school students. She regularly teaches reflective writing classes at Creative Wellness in East Lansing and has a private practice in writing for healing at Oasis Health and Wellness. Holly is also a Reiki and Esoteric Healing practitioner.
