CABS 100 Maintaining Your Computer
Prerequisite: None
Students will learn to install and uninstall programs, install critical
updates, remove unnecessary files, make folders, defragment the hard disk
backup files, find files, remove spyware, prevent pop-ups, protect from
viruses, use the recovery CD, save electricity, create a startup disk,
install additional memory. Check the performance of the computer and recover
from a lockup.
