ARTS 114 Oriental Watercolor
Prerequisite: None
An introduction to the materials and techniques that are unique to oriental
watercolor and calligraphy. Examines rice paper characteristics and degrees
of paper wetness; brushes and tools; calligraphy; and inscriptions and
seals. Students will also learn the underlying philosophy behind the
practice of oriental watercolor.
