CTE Workshops
The Center for Teaching Excellence provides opportunities for professional growth in a variety of formats (i.e., workshops, seminars, one-on-one assistance, etc.). The CTE draws facilitators from the talented and diverse faculty and staff of Lansing Community College. Each semester brings a new variety of enriching topics.
Workshop topics vary greatly. For instance, Faculty Development Workshops enable instructors to explore new methodologies in teaching and learning. Instructional Technology workshops present information and hands-on experience related to the appropriate application of various software to the learning environment, including ANGEL, the college's online course management system. In addition to traditional workshops, the CTE routinely hosts teleconferences and fifty minute mini-workshops called Techno-Bytes and Teaching-Ettes. All offerings are free to LCC faculty and staff. Please consult our workshop calendar to discover the current workshop offerings.
