"I facilitate student (primarily but not
limited to persons with disabilities) educational and personal development by
providing counseling and academic advising. I coordinate and monitor classroom
accommodations to insure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
I'm on the College's Critical Incident Stress Management Team that assists
students and faculty in a crisis situation. I orient and mentor faculty
regarding disability-related issues. My passion is to ensure a learning
environment that creates the opportunity for inclusion/access for all students,
especially those that come from underserved minority groups. I'm fluent in
Spanish, both verbal and written."
