Mandatory Nursing
Seminars for all Nursing Majors
Beginning Fall semester 2005, all students pursuing a career in
nursing are required to attend one of these free informational
advising sessions.
Advising
Help with course selection, assessment results, waivers, academic
programs, transfer to four-year colleges and universities, Academic
Completion Plans (ACP), Academic Amnesty, and general college
information.

Services
ODSS works to provide assistance that will allow
each student to participate in the educational opportunities at LCC.
Student Development Courses
Consider a Student Development (SDEV) class to improve your academic
success skills and get support.
TIP
Michigan Tuition Incentive Program (TIP) helps pay for college
tuition and mandatory fees for students from low-income families.
In addition to meeting LCC's academic requirements.
TRIO
TRIO is a federally funded program for first generation (parents who
have not earned a Bachelors degree) low income (receiving Pell
Grants) college students to better assist them in their transition
to college life.
Women's Resource Center
The WRC offers services and programs in support of women and men at
LCC.
Limited English Proficiency (LEP) Program
The LEP program provides support services that enable students who
are non-native English speakers and have difficulty reading, writing and
understanding English, to succeed in academic programs in the college setting.
