Building a Support Network

Building a Support Network I Developing Goals

Now is the time to turn your hopes and dreams into a reality. New opportunities come in the form of challenges. One challenge may be to find a strong support system. Sharing ideas, projects, research or studies can create life-long friendships.

Lansing Community College offers a wealth of supportive staff. Virtually hundreds of employees are dedicated to helping you achieve success. Do not hesitate to look up an advisor, counselor, instructor, or any other staff member who can help you with the situation at hand. Look into the various support services of the Women's Resource Center, Center for Employment Services, Tutoring Services, Counselors in the Counseling Center, or the Office of Disability Support Services. Turning to others for help can build momentum in your goals, increase your confidence, reduce your stress, give you a new perspective and lead to valuable networking relationships.
