Ms. Erickson has performed in a variety of both college and community operas including Faust, Two Women, A Hand of Bridge, and Elixer of Love, and The Barber of Seville.  Playing the role of Santuzza in Pietro Mascagni's Cavalleria Rusticana was a personal career highlight.  Lydia has also toured with the Opera in the Schools program as Red in Little Red Riding Hood and the Witch in Hansel and Gretel.  While at LCC she has directed the Women's Chorus as well as the Lansing Matinee Musicale Chorus (a division of the Michigan Federation of Music Clubs).
