Carolyn Siivola has taught Music Fundamentals for Elementary Education at LCC since 1991. She received her Bachelor of Music Education from Lowell State University in Massachusetts and her Master of Music Education from MSU. Her music interests and responsibilities have included serving as Music Director in churches: directing adult and children's choirs, organist, handbell director, and keyboardist and vocalist in praise bands. She served for many years as accompanist for the Howell High School choral and instrumental departments, including stage musicals. She teaches private piano and voice lessons. In addition, she is published in JRME and composes choral and solo vocal music. In her spare time, Carolyn and her husband raise range-fed Black Angus beef. She has two grown children and two grandchildren.
