Welcome to the Foreign Language Program home page.

We hope you can easily find the information you're seeking here. Just by finding us, you probably already know that the Internet has made it possible to communicate with people in any part of the world, in any language, any time of the day or night.

We in Foreign Languages think this a very exciting concept and would like very much to share that excitement with you. Skill in a second language is your gateway to worlds of international business, education, and friendship.

We hope you are ready to join the increasingly connected global community with us, not only for your personal enrichment but also for the loftier goals of finding international peace and understanding. Learning a second language is a big step forward in attaining those goals.

The Foreign Language Program at LCC includes conversation and transfer-level courses in French, German, Japanese, Spanish and Vietnamese.

Foreign Language Day

Foreign Language Day will be held on Friday, March 22, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

We will accept reservations for participation in Foreign Language Day beginning immediately, on a first come first served basis. Language participation is limited to the following disciplines: American Sign Language, Chinese, French, German, Japanese and Spanish. The number of participants from any one school is usually limited to 50, but we may be able to be flexible on this number, depending on the response volume.
