  Continuing Education is Continuing Professional Development
 

Continuing Education Courses are designed to update your professional certification, continue your professional development, help you grow your business, or gain additional professional certifications.

Many of the courses allow you to meet continuing education contact hour requirements for your profession, especially if you are a health or human services professional.

Our classes are led by experienced professionals and give you hands-on practical applications. One day or one-weekend options as well as longer timeframes are available.

  Small Business Development  

Our non-credit small business seminars (NCSB) are designed to help you manage and grow your business. Call (517) 483-9853 to register. Inquire about a price discount when sending two or more people from the same organization.

Examples of courses offered are Financials with Quickbooks, E-Commerce: Intro into Online Selling, Starting Your Own Business, and Legal Issues in Starting a Business, as well as Marketing, making a Business Plan and many more. These courses conducted by LCC's Business and Community Institute (BCI) and are listed under "Continuing Education" in the Course Schedule Book.

  Human, Health & Public Service Continuing Professional Ed.  

The Human, Health & Public Service Careers Division offers continuing professional education courses designed for current public safety and healthcare professionals. Many of these courses update your professional certifications, continue your professional development, and/or provide additional professional certifications. Course offering include cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), advanced life support classes (e.g. ACLS, PALS), specialty Public Service Careers courses (e.g. Farmedic, Phase I: Flashover, and Coal Fire courses), and other Health & Human Services courses (e.g. Vascular Technology, Dental Hygiene, and Mental Health and Aging seminars).
