Associate in Arts/Associate in
Science Degrees
The
Associate in Arts (AA) and the Associate in Science (AS) Degrees
are primarily transfer degrees designed for students who intend to transfer to
a four-year college or university to pursue a baccalaureate degree. Students
completing these curricula will also satisfy the MACRAO Transfer Agreement
between two-year and four-year institutions in

The associate degree
in applied arts, associate degree in applied science, associate degree in
business, or certificates are designed primarily for students who seek education
and the acquisition of skills need to enter the job market or to advance their
current careers. Not all courses in these programs transfer to all colleges.
Students planning to transfer should see an academic advisor or counselor before
enrolling in any course.
