General Education Core Requirements
When the General Education Core is required for degree completion, students only need to take one course from each of the following five Core areas:

When choosing your General Education Core courses, please be aware that the selection of courses available to meet the Core is based on your curriculum guide. If you are following a 2015 curriculum guide, you must select courses that were available to meet the Core as of Fall Semester 2015 (see the 2015-2016 document below), or later.

Students should meet with an academic advisor at least once a semester to stay on track for completion of their certificate or degree.
The Center for Academic & Career Pathways is your one-stop shop for academic advising, career exploration and advising, and academic success guidance. The Center is located in the Star Zone in the Gannon Building and students can check-in at the Advising desk.
