256MB Thumb/Jump Drives are now available for purchase in the Hole in the Hall (OC201S, 483-1357). The cost is $68, including tax.
Plantronics
headsets (required for OADM108) are available for purchase
in the Hole in the Hall (OC201S, 483-1357). The cost is
$15.
Dragon Naturally Speaking Software in the Library:
This software is now available in the library's multimedia
rooms 227, 228, and 229. Students should go to the Support desk
and ask for these rooms, or reserve the rooms in advance by
calling the Support desk at 483-1654. The heavy usage
times for these rooms are 12-2pm and 4-6pm. The headphones and
booklet can be checked out at the checkout desk. Students need
to bring either a Star Card or Drivers License.
About Transcription Tapes in the Library:
Reserve transcription tapes for Legal Vocabulary/Transcription
(OADM 206) and Medical Transcription (OADM 207 and 222) are
available for 4 hour use in the library.
Students should request reserve material at the Circulation Desk on the second floor. The foot pedals, recorders and cassettes are all located at this desk. Students are allowed 3 reserve items at any one time - one recorder, one pedal and one cassette tape.
Students may use any available study room or check out a 2nd floor Multi-media room at the Support Desk. Note: room check outs do not count in the check out total.
Study rooms are located on all three floors of the library. Multi-media or Study Rooms may be reserved up to one month in advance by calling the Support Desk at 483-1654.
The reserve list is found on our Library Catalog page under Reserves. The list can be accessed by class, title or instructor.
