Employment of accountants, especially Certified Public Accountants, is expected to grow faster than the average for all occupations through the year 2014. Please click here for more information.

Lansing Community College offers courses that are accepted by the Michigan State Board of Accountancy as credit towards the credentials required in order to sit for the C.P.A. Examination. In addition there is a two-year associate degree to prepare for the paraprofessional level. There are also two certificate programs. Please click here for more information.
