LCC's Work First Program is one of five designated Work First agencies in the tri-county area. It is grant funded by Capital Area Michigan Works!.  The goals of Work First are to help participants secure employment, maintain employment and reach self sufficiency.

ACT's WorkKeys  job profiling system is a job analysis system that helps businesses identify the skills and skill levels employees must have to perform particular jobs effectively. ACT has developed WorkKeys as a nationwide system to improve the workforce.
