ASTD's Human Performance Improvement Certificate Program

Human Performance Improvement is a concept that follows a holistic approach to finding out how employees can work more efficiently and effectively, realizing that training is not the magic cure for all human performance problems.  The HPI methodology focuses on discovering and analyzing important human performance gaps and planning for future improvements based on the business goals of the organization.  Cost-effective and ethically justifiable interventions are designed, developed and implemented to meet goals and close gaps.  Financial and non-financial results are determined and evaluated.
