WorkKeys® Testing
Information
Lansing Community College
currently offers the WorkKeys®
Parapro Exam. The ParaPro Assessment measures the
skills and knowledge in reading, writing, and math of
prospective and practicing paraprofessionals. It also
measures their ability to apply those skills and knowledge
when assisting in classroom instruction. It was
designed to satisfy the requirements of the federally
legislated No Child Left Behind Act.
LCC also
utilizes the WorkKeys Assessment for those students who took
all
four MEAP tests and achieves Level I or Level II on at least
two of the tests, and meets all other eligibility
requirements. The WorkKeys® assessment is an alternate way
to qualify for the Michigan Merit Award.
LCC is offering
both sessions at the West campus
location in order to offer more
convenient options for the those
employees/students working in the mid-Michigan area who are
interested in attaining certification/and qualifications for
the Michigan Merit Award.
