Information About
Taking Tests Off-Campus

All your tests will come to us
from your instructor. Once we have all your information on
file (your name, student number, phone number and email
address), we will automatically pull all your tests as we
receive them and mail them to your proctor.
We send our tests via certified
mail, so we are able to track your tests through the postal
service. Generally there is no fee for mailing tests if you
are taking your tests in the continental United States.
Students who are taking tests outside of the continental US
may have to pay for return postage to send the test back to
the Assessment Center.
Once you complete your test, your
proctor will return the test to us. We will then inform your
instructor that your test has arrived.
|
|
You must renew your
information with the Online Testing Support Office
each semester. We will not automatically assume that
you will be using a proctor at the start of a new semester. |
 |
|
|
In most
cases you may use the same proctor
as you have in the past. Just let us know at the start
of each new semester that you would like to keep your
same proctor. |
 |
|
|
The deadline for setting up a
proctor for fall semester is October
16th, 2006. After that
date we will no longer be allowing new proctored students.
Even if you only have a final exam that needs to be proctored,
you must have contacted the Assessment Center before
October 16th, 2006 if you would like to have your test taken off-campus. |
