Off-Campus Testing

Off-campus
tests are tests that come from regular Virtual
College/Online Instruction classes. Most students enrolled
in these types of courses will be from the Lansing area and
will come into the Assessment Center to take their tests;
however, a good number of students
each semester will live far enough away from LCC to warrant
having tests mailed to a local proctor.
Off-campus
students must live at least one hour away from LCC,
or 60 miles away in order to use a proctor. If they
live under the one hour limit, they must come into
Assessment Center itself or use one of the LCC Extension
Centers. Extension Centers operate in different areas
outside of Lansing and they are not always all operational
each semester. The largest
center offering proctoring services is the
Livingston
County Center in Howell. To
have your exams sent to an Extension Center you must follow
the guidelines below under how to
set up a proctor.
