International students are welcome to study in most LCC programs. The programs with the highest enrollment of international students are business, tourism, engineering, and liberal arts. The majority of LCC international students (74 percent) are enrolled in university transfer programs.

To learn more about the Lansing Community College campus and its students, go to Facts at a Glance.

If you prefer to print out the International Student Application, it is available to you as a downloadable PDF file under LCC Publications. The Printable application is eighteen pages long and offers the same information that is available on this website. In addition, we offer a text only version of this website to speed internet downloading time. We recommend selecting the text only version if your connection to the internet is slow.

Who is an International Student?

Any individual who has been admitted to the United States in a temporary, non-resident (visa) status will be classified as an international student at Lansing Community College. Individuals admitted to the United States on any type of visa should use the international application.

Individuals who have refugee, immigrant, or resident alien (green card) status are not international students and should use the LCC domestic student application.
