First Steps

Follow these five simple steps to receive accommodations through CSA at LCC.

  1. Apply to LCC

Begin the Future Stars application process by becoming an LCC student. Once you've received your student ID, username (TUID), and activated your account, you can move on to our second step (meet with us).

  2. Meet with Us

The goal of our first meeting is to get to know each other and to establish what kind of barriers you've encountered in the past so that we can help you develop a strategy for success during your time at LCC.
    Request an appointment online.

  3. Connect with Your Teachers

Present your teachers with the Instructor Memo (IM) that we gave you during our meeting. It's good practice to also have a confidential discussion with your instructor about your accommodations shortly after giving them the IM.

  4. Reflect on Your Accommodations

Pay attention to what's working, what's not working, and what kind of barriers you're still experiencing throughout the semester. Your accommodations aren't set in stone.

  5. Revisit with Us

We want to hear about what's been working, what barriers still exist, and what you think could help. Return to us to talk anytime you like, or only visit once a year to renew your accommodations.
